Forensic Material Identification and Testing (Infidelity Testing)
Serotech provides a variety of forensic identification and testing services. This type of testing is often undertaken when a person suspects their spouse or partner of infidelity. Serotech can perform screening tests on clothing or other items to detect the presence or absence of bodily fluids such as semen or blood. If bodily fluids are detected Serotech can attempt to extract DNA from the sample to generate a profile of the individual the sample belongs to. This profile could be compared to another sample to determine if a match exists. The cost for forensic identification and testing depends on the type of testing performed and the condition and type of samples submitted for analysis.
